We're soh happy to welcome them to the kin."

Everyone at Downpour Interactive leave be join the Optic Studios team "in some capacity", while Verdu gives this arsenic the reason for the acquisition:

"We've seen great achiever with Onward on the Oculus platform for several years—first on Rift and more recently on Quest. Comme il faut part of the Oculus Studios family will give Downpour Interactive the chance to cultivate both the Forrader community with the full support of Oculus Studios resources, and, in the future day, pursue other projects."

Verdu says that Downpour has "tingling" plans for those future projects, and for updates to Onwards. The crippled's been in early access for quint long time—you arse play it on PC and Oculus Call for, and with a bunch of different headsets, not just the Oculus Breach—and Verdu says that support will continue for all current platforms. Meanwhile, Downpour Founder and CEO Dante Buckley had this to say in a FAQ on the plot's land site:

"With United States joining Optic Studios at Facebook, we can now realize Onward's full imagination with tremendous support and resources. This means a better game for entirely our players happening all platforms. There are no changes in hierarchy or in vision, everyone at Downpour is still working operose to deliver you the Charles Herbert Best game possible. Thank you all for your continued support, and stay tuned for future updates and content."

Buckley says there will be no changes to Onward's roadmap, differently that the team will be able to "accelerate development of new features". Meanwhile, there will follow "zero stave changes at Downpour Interactive arsenic a result of the acquisition, and the same developers who were working connected Advancing before the acquisition leave continue to do so now."
